Contract: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week), Term Time plus 5 inset days and 3 weeks

Salary: CLF 12, starting at £34,766 and rising incrementally to £37,825 per year, pro rata

Actual Gross Starting Salary: £31,924 per year

The Cabot Learning Federation is one of the largest academy groups in the South West. We currently sponsor 16 academies which consist of secondary, primary, post 16, an all through 3 to 19 provision, and a studio school catering for students aged 14 to 19. This is a new role that will be based predominantly in a cluster, but will also lead collaboratively across the Federation to provide strategic oversight and contribute to raising achievement by improving pupil attendance.

You will lead an Attendance Team, whose purpose will be to provide attendance improvement services to academies, within a cluster, delivering measurable impact in accordance with performance expectations (currently 95%).

You will ensure the timely management and monitoring of legal attendance records within strict deadlines, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.  You will create sound procedures and processes and set clear standards across federation academies to ensure consistency and compliance.  You will develop and implement strategies to promote and improve attendance and punctuality within the Federation.
