Student Support Leader

Full time permanent position commencing 2nd October 2017

Term Time only plus inset days, plus 10 additional days

37 hours per week

Salary: CLF 9 starting at £24,329 rising incrementally to £26,983 per year per year (pro rata) Starting Salary: £21,808 per year

The Cabot Learning Federation is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. The CLF currently sponsors 12 academies, seven of which are secondary and five are primary, and a Post 16 provision.

In this role you will work closely with students, supporting them throughout their time with Post 16. This will involve supporting any day to day management of all Post 16 student’s requirements, providing strong intervention to remove any barriers to learning and ensuring they reach their full potential.

Your duties will also include the following, please see the role and person specification for more detail:

  • Working closely with students who require additional support to achieve their targets.
  • Track and manage attendance and support the Attendance Officer
  • Support all students to seek successful destinations and promote a wide range of opportunities
  • Support the processes for recruitment, enrolment and induction of students.

You will have a good general standard of education, and be IT literate. You will be well organised and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
