 Part Time (22 hours p/week), Permanent, Term Time Only (plus 5 INSET days) plus 1 week

Salary: CLF6 starting at £17,579 and rising incrementally to £18,790 per year, pro rata

Actual Gross Starting Salary: £9,140 per year

City Academy is a forward thinking Academy based in East Central Bristol. City Academy provides education to 650 students KS3, 4 and 5. The children at City Academy are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community. They benefit from a hugely positive and supporting learning environment.

City Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF).  The CLF is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. The CLF currently sponsors 16 academies, eight of which are secondary, seven are primary and one is a studio school catering for students aged 14 to 19.

A Student Culture Administrator required to provide administrative support to the Assistant Principal in School Culture.  This role is essential to the smooth running of the Academy and at time prioritising and flexibility will be important.

  • To support the administration of community project work and community events.
  • Any other tasks which will allow the Assistant Principal to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Deal with sensitive and confidential data/information and ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act.
  • Diary management of the Assistant Principal and Pastoral Leader.

You must have patience, resilience, tact and the ability to emphasise with people of all ages and in different roles and contexts.  You must also ensure your work is organised and delivered within agreed timescales.  This role will also include some Front Desk Reception cover during break and lunchtimes as and when required, to ensure visitors to the Academy are dealt with appropriately and in a professional manner (ensuring Safeguarding compliance at all times).
