Hans Price Academy was awarded a £14.1m building grant by the Department for Education to fund major redevelopment works. This will involve the demolition of a substantial part of the existing buildings and replacement with exciting new buildings. Some parts of the site (The sports complex and Sandringham buildings) will be retained but there will be major remodelling and refurbishment works carried out to improved educational functionality and harmonise them with the new buildings.

Willmott Dixon were appointed as the building contractor and are now working on site.  The overall project will be completed in the second half of 2014.
