Bristol City Council have identified a shortfall in primary places across the Local Authority. As part of their strategy for managing this problem they have committed funding to expand Begbrook Primary Academy from 2 forms of entry to 3 forms of entry (an additional 30 students per year group).

The Academy has already accepted an additional class of reception year students for the last two years and this project will provide space for these and future students.

Planning permission was granted on 11^th March 2013 and work will start during spring 2013.
