Primary Music Lessons At Bristol Metropolitan
Written by Dean Blake on 24/06/2010 – 2:55 pm -Lis Jolley and Kathryn Shaw hosted around thirty Year Five pupils from St. Matthias & Dr. Bell’s Primary School who were invited to attend Music Lessons at Bristol Metropolitan Academy.
The pupils were split into two groups one group had a Music Technology lesson using a music software programme called Garage Band. This programme allows pupils to compose their own music and add there own voice to their music using special effects.
The other group formed a samba band using basic rhythms and various instruments the group created a very realistic samba composition.
The groups then swapped over to have a go at the other lesson.
