JCA-Morocco Fundraising Event
Written by Dean Blake on 21/07/2011 – 10:42 am -The MFL department organised a fundraising event Thursday breaktime in order to raise money for the Morocco trip next year.
The MFL department dressed up in traditional Morrocan clothes and set up a Morrocan stall selling traditional Morrocan patisseries, mint tea and other cakes in order to raise money for the Morocco trip 2012. Eleven students are involved in this MFL French trip in March 2012. As always, we endeavour to promote culture as an important and exciting part of language study here at John Cabot Academy.
This visit is the first of its kind in that students will be taken to experience the wonderful sights, sounds and culture of Morocco’s capital city and its neighbouring town Salé, as well as enjoying valuable opportunities to use French language in a range of situations.
