Principal:Armando Di-Finizio At BBA we are excited to be part of the Cabot Learning Federation.Working closely with two other Academies gives staff and students the opportunity to broaden their learning experiences and gives us the capacity to research good practice across the country. BBA brings to the Federation a specialism in Communications and its expertise in inclusion and personalised learning. Since opening we have reduced all fixed term exclusions to zero and have developed a curriculum where students have individual pathways and focus on developing good habits of learning. |
Principal:Steve Taylor The move to academy status and the link to the Federation represent a huge opportunity for the young people of this part of Bristol, as well as the community in general. Housed in the brand new state-of-the-art building on Snowdon Road, Bristol Met is launching a new curriculum model which reflects the best practices in academic, vocational and pastoral support currently available in the UK.- Bristol Metropolitan Academy has a strong focus on:- High Standards, High Aspirations, High Expectations- Learning-centred, Student-centred - Friends together - A pride in Community Ours is a vibrant and dynamic community and the pride we have in our identity and the new opportunities available are shaping the high aspirations we have for the future. |
Principal:Adam Williams John Cabot Academy is a lively place to be, full of motivated students who play a significant part in their own learning. Cabot is also full of dedicated members of staff who work tirelessly alongside the students to ensure that all students are safe, happy, fulfilled and challenged. We are passionate about providing an outstanding experience for our students and believe wholeheartedly that students should not only learn new knowledge and skills but should also understand why they are learning them. The Academy is structured around four key areas as we aspire towards maintaining our outstanding status (OfSTED 2007): - Outstanding Student Care - Outstanding Teaching and Learning - Outstanding Curriculum - Outstanding AssessmentThe Academy enjoys being a key player in the Cabot Learning Federation. Much of what we have introduced over the past two years have been influenced by the close working partnership with other CLF schools. The opportunities to improve the experience of students and staff through the work of the CLF is exiting and we are looking forward to being a part of this ongoing development. |
