BBA Cup Cake Sale For Cancer Research

On May 26th an enthusiastic group of Year 8 girls – Pretti Kaur, Sam Bartley, Charlie Boltz, Nakeeta Thornell, Sineenat Garret and Kayleigh Jones made what seemed like hundreds of fantastic cupcakes to sell in aid of Cancer Research. The food technology staff and the girls worked hard throughout the morning to create amazing cupcakes and brownies. These were sold during Thursday lunch time and Friday break time in the cafeteria. In this short time the girls raised a whopping £136 selling to children and staff!
I would like to thank all the staff and pupils for their support and contributions towards this worthy cause!
