Primary Partnerships
Our Academies provide learning and teaching for students between the ages of 11 and 19. However, if we are to be successful in providing a world class education for students in East Bristol then we need to ensure we develop excellent sustainable links with our primary school partners.
Our schools are part of the EC2 Extended School Partnership and as a federation as well as individual Academies a range of partnership projects have been created. We have appointed to the CLF a Primary Deputy Head and Curriculum AST to lead the CLF partnership programme to develop a Year 5 to Year 8 Transition programme across the Academies and the Primary Schools (see CLF Support Hubs)
Primary Partnerships Hub Activities
- Design and Implementation of projects for Reception to Year 8 that are bespoke for the needs of each primary school and academy
- To provide access to Year 5 and 6 students to the Academy buildings and facilities
- To develop creativity and skills based learning in both phases to blur the boundaries between key stages
- To support a rise in standards across local primary schools and CLF academies
