CLF summer conference 2012

On the 6th July 2012 more than 600 staff from the Cabot Learning Federation assembled at the University of the West of England conference center in Bristol for the federations annual summer conference.  As well as hearing from keynote speakers from the world of education and business, the delegates also had the opportunity to visit 50 workshops run by staff from the federation and the new team of SLEs from the teaching school.  These workshops covered many diverse topics and shared the best practice from the federation, both in teaching and learning and also for non teaching staff.

David Carter, Executive Principal of the Cabot Learning Federation said, “Our Annual Conference is our showcase event of the year. 650 staff working together to
improve the life changes of over 5000 children is a force for good and the day will give us the chance to share those strategies that are clearly making a difference as we relentlessly focus on our journey to creating 10 outstanding Academies”.
