Bristol Brunel Academy (BBA)-Principal Dr Dan Nicholls

BBA joined the federation in 2007 when the first phase of the federation started. The academy replaced Speedwell Technology College and has become one of the most improved schools in Bristol.

Accommodated in a superb new building, the GCSE results have risen to 46% 5 ACEM and from a starting point where only 90 year 7 students joined in 2007, the academy is now full in every year group.

Dr Dan Nicholls joined the Academy in June 2012 and has led a compelling and improvement focused vision that has enabled BBA to move further along its journey to outstanding.
